Lawrence & Associates has an opening for a paralegal to assist our attorneys by handling matters ranging from factual and legal research, cite-checking, acquiring records and assembling, to document drafting and coordination of document production. This position includes general administrative duties as well as all substantive functions that do not require a law degree, and requires substantial client contact in the form of meetings, phone calls and emails.
Candidate must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, possess excellent organizational and MS Office Suite skills, including MS Access and Outlook, interact and communicate with clarity, tact and courtesy with staff and clients at all levels, and have the ability to handle a flexible schedule.
- Bachelor’s Degree and additional paralegal certificate, or a combination of applicable education and work experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
